The "army" of 19 people who accepted the Talent Challenge will report on their increase from the use of God's money and their God-given talents. You won't believe all the creative uses to which this money has been put. Be sure to be present in church to celebrate with them.

Feb.22 Ash Wednesday Service 7:30pm
10Sermon: "A Sinner's Prayer"
1xScripture: Psalm 51:1-17
We begin the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday. Please accept this as your personal invitation to this unique and inspirational service. We will write our sins on a piece of paper and then place them in the garbage can. They will be consumed by fire outside the church at the conclusion of the service. The ashes will remain on the altar throughout the Lenten season. Let's start Lent with a large supportive attendance!

Today we will have Holy Communion as we mark the First Sunday in Lent. We will begin with the extinguishing of one candle on the Menorah for the seven-week series of Lenten services.

Have we ever had a Blessing Service at Dubbs?
To the best of our recollection, the answer is no.I'm sure you have read about the blessing of animals in other churches and elsewhere, we are not limiting our blessing to pets. Any true desire for the blessing of a precious thing or person is okay, too. You bring what you are serious about having blessed, and Pastor Carl will ask God's blessing upon it. This will take place during our Women's Week Sunday service on Feb 5th. We know God's blessings will be abundant because we have been blessed by Him many times.
